Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition, July 4, 5, 6 2014!

Montréal, June 9, 2014.  The first weekend of July Denise Buisman Pilger will exhibit new works at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition on Nathan Phillips Square in downtown Toronto. This will be the first time that the artist will showcase her work at the largest and longest running outdoor art fair in Canada. You can find her in booth G32! (See map)

The Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition is Toronto’s first, largest, and longest running outdoor art fair – providing fresh art, fresh faces, in the fresh air since 1961. Attracting an audience of over 100,000 people annually, and showcasing the work of over 350 artists, the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition prides itself on creating an environment which gives artists the chance to interact directly with the public in an informal setting – removing the barriers to access, and dispelling the formality of a traditional gallery or art fair experience.

On Friday and Saturday the exhibition will be open from 10:30am to 7:30pm and on Sunday from 10:30am to 6:30pm. The information center will be located in the large tent right in front of the main doors to City Hall. RAW Showcase Montreal June 13, 2014

Montréal, May 5, 2014.  Selected works by Denise Buisman Pilger will be part of 'Panorama' an upcoming RAW Showcase that will be held at the Rialto Theater in Montreal on June 13th 2014 from 7-11:30 PM. What can you expect when attending a RAW Showcase? You'll experience an independent film (usually a short, webisode or music video), a fashion show from an up-and-coming local designer, a musical performance, an art gallery featuring several independent visual artists and photographers, and performance art (comedy/dance/fire dancers, you name it...). You'll get a little taste of everything. Combine all this creativity with drinks, fun, and good company! Sound interesting? Tickets are only $15! ($20 if you buy them at the door).

RAW: natural born artists is an independent arts organization, for artists, by artists. They're an international community made up of creative individuals across the globe. ARTiculation 2014, a celebration of word and image in art.

Montreal, March 12, 2014.  On Friday March 21th Viva Vida Art Gallery will start off their 2014 exhibit season with a celebration of word and image in art- an evening filled with music, poetry, and art. The event will start at 7pm, a variety of poetry readings will start at 8pm and we will close the evening with some live music. The exhibit will run for almost three weeks so if you can’t join us for opening night there will be plenty of time to check out the exhibit afterwards. This event is free and open to the public so bring your friends, family, neighbors, that guy that was sitting next to you on the bus the other day.
