Festival d'art érotique de Montréal - 2012
Montreal, August 9, 2012. Several pieces of the ‘Journey’ series will be exhibited at the Festival d'art érotique de Montréal - 2012. For this 6th edition, from 24 August to 2 September, the Festival of erotic art invades the city of Montreal with a renewed presentation, ever more vibrant and more erotic. The exhibit can be seen at La Cenne / 7755, boul. St-Laurent (métro Castelnau) à Montréalwith a vernissage on Thursday August 30th from 5pm to midnight.
A festival bringing together the most glamorous events in terms of eroticism in Montreal; all artistic disciplines are represented with more than 350 artists: visual arts, performing arts, circus arts, music, literature and more. Not to mention several workshops and free outdoor activities. A wide variety of activities of the wisest to the most daring. An exhibition of artwork by over 50 artists from here and elsewhere, all for your viewing pleasure.
The Festival in 2011 was a resounding success with nearly 500 artists of all kinds and 10,000 spectators attended the different activities. Many international artists have the opportunity to benefit.
Under the honorary chairmanship of Mr. Andy Nulman, President of Just For Laughs Festival, the Festival's success is easy to understand. Although the programming is far from complete, here are some players in the program this year: the Council of Quebec artists present an exhibition of more then 50 artists with a variety of activities. Erotic Signature arrives from Miami. Fetish Weekend recurrence at the Olympia and the beautiful World of Daring Erotic Ball will take place. Not to mention James Scarlett, the burlesque queen who will also present with this performing art. And newcomers to the underground art, such as DÉCOVER Magazine and VIP Virus Pictorial Improvisation or the Bronze Museum of Inverness with its exhibition titled "Eros". The festival will run from August 24 - September 2 with a vernissage on August 30 from 17h - 24h.

The FIMA (Festival International Montréal en Arts) is the greatest open air art gallery in eastern Canada. The FIMA offers festival goers a unique opportunity to meet artists from various backgrounds, professionals and emerging artists, and to purchase artworks directly from the artists (without going through a gallery or an agent).
