TREASURED TORONTO
Mixed Media on Wood
36” x 24” | 76 cm x 91 cm
'Treasured Toronto' was commissioned by Trisha Woodhead and John Kattan:
I like the blending of the different pieces of the city this is very meaningful to us, we’re emotionally drawn to your work, there is an emotional connection. The buildings you used have an emotional significance and the pops of color catch you eye and invite you to study the piece.
So much of the city has changed, the painting is a piece of our history, it brings back the happy memories or moments in time. All of your work has such a story to it, when I tell people the story about it they will look at it in a different way. This is a picture of our life and time, it will be a piece that also has a lot of meaning for our son, knowing that it will be passed down makes it that much more powerful for us. ~ Trisha & John
